Jevon Estelle

Athletic Director & Head Trainer
Jevon ("Von" for short) has been playing basketball since he was three years old. It started off locally in the recreation leagues in Winslow, AZ. Jevon went 54-19 in his 3 years of Varsity basketball. Even though he did not win a state championship, Jevon was still able to go to 3 back-to-back Final Four appearances in the 3a-North State championships. As a Freshman at Grand Canyon University (GCU) Jevon met a young man by the name of Kyle Speed who helped him develop his game to a point where he could try out for the men’s team at GCU. Thanks to Kyle’s instruction and a great work ethic, Jevon was able to become a walk-on at GCU during its first year of Division 1 competition. Based on this success, Jevon travelled overseas to play in both Italy and Greece, and played against some of the premiere universities in the country (Kentucky, Indiana, San Diego State, Houston, etc.). Jevon was coached by Dan Majerle and the rest of the coaching staff at GCU. Now his vision is to take what he has learned and apply it at DreamTeam Academy (DTA) to help Phoenix-area youth make their dreams come true.
